October 28 untitled last night i had a nice chat with yvette. we talked about photographing. i myself is not interested in it but as a journalism-majored student i share some of my comment about it, especially news photographing. yvette said i always try to summarize some principles for photographing, as if there's "golden rules" for it. she then raised a hypothesis that chinese people are prone to believe that there's simple solution for things. We are used to things like "the most important......", "as long as you......", "there's only one thing......" i wouldn't judge whether this is good or bad, right or wrong. but in science such manner is not helpful and that's why our ancestors haven't developed science regardless of our prosperous civilization.
